Run inventory on hosts

You can run the inventory job to retrieve the latest inventory information of the hosts.

  1. On the OMEVV home page, click Compliance & Deployment > Compliance > Management Compliance.
  2. Select the hosts with the status Unsupported, Compliant, Non-Compliant, and Managed without alerts, and click RUN INVENTORY.

To view the progress of the run inventory job, you can see logs.

NOTE OMEVV by default runs compliance job everyday and also updates information for all hosts part of registered vCenter.
