Modify vCenter login password

You can modify the vCenter login password with administrative privileges or a nonadministrator user with necessary privileges.

Steps

  1. Log in to OpenManage Enterprise appliance, go to Plugins > OMEVV Plugin > Administration.
    The registered vCenter servers are displayed in the working pane.
  2. To modify vCenter login password, click Modify under credentials.
  3. If incorrect password is entered, a message is displayed. Enter a password and then reenter to verify the password.
  4. To change the password, click Apply. To cancel an update, click Cancel.
