Table 1. Features available on the front of the systemItem 1 is the power button, indicates if the system is powered on or off. Item 2 is the system health and system ID indicator, indicates the system health. Item 3 is the Express Service tag. Item 4 is USB 3.2 port enables you to connect USB devices to the system. Item 5 is the iDRAC Direct Micro-USB port. Item 6 is the optical drive. Item 7 is the Drive bay which enables you to install drives that are supported on your system and, Item 8 is the BOSS-N1 (optional) for internal system boot.

1 Power button Power-on indicator iconIndicates if the system is powered on or off. Press the power button to manually power on or off the system.
2 Status LED indicators This image shows system health and system ID indicator.Indicates the status of the system. For more information, see the Status LED indicators section.
3 Express Service Tag N/A A slide-out label panel that contains the Express Service Tag that has system information such as Service Tag, NIC, MAC address, and so on. If you have opted for the secure default access to iDRAC, the Information tag will also contain the iDRAC secure default password.
4 USB 3.2 port USB 3.0 connector iconSupports USB 3.2 compliant devices
5 iDRAC Direct (Micro-AB USB) port iDRAC Direct icon The iDRAC Direct (Micro-AB USB) port enables you to access the iDRAC direct Micro-AB USB features. For more information, see the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller User's Guide at PowerEdge Manuals.
6 Optical drive N/A Enables you to retrieve and store data on optical discs such as compact discs (CD) and digital versatile discs (DVD). For more information, see the Technical specifications section.
7 Drive Bay N/A Enables you to install SAS/SATA drives that are supported on your system.
8 BOSS-N1 (optional) N/A BOSS-N1 (optional) for internal system boot.
