The adoption of AI and edge computing is transforming the way businesses operate, bringing innovative technology to industries like telecommunications, energy, manufacturing, and more.

The Edge AI Program, powered by Intel & Dell, leveraging 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors’ AI inferencing capabilities on Dell’s PowerEdge XR8000, is at the forefront of this transformation. With its game-changing Edge AI solutions, this program enables real-time data processing on the edge, reducing latency, improving flexibility and delivering exceptional Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

The PowerEdge XR8000, Dell’s rugged and scalable server, is the foundation of these advancements, offering unparalleled performance and flexibility for enterprises ready to adopt edge and AI solutions.

Through collaborations with key partners and customers, the program delivers tailor-made solutions that are transforming industries.

Powering AI with Dell’s PowerEdge XR8000

At the heart of the Edge AI Program is the PowerEdge XR8000, Dell’s cutting-edge server designed for high-performance in edge and AI environments. Its sled-based architecture allows flexibility and scalability, making it a perfect fit for industries with diverse computing requirements. Whether it’s smart cities, transportation systems or industrial manufacturing, the XR8000 powers solutions built for the edge with superior efficiency and performance capabilities.

With Intel’s CPU-native AI capabilities, the XR8000 enables cost-effective AI inferencing and real-time processing without relying heavily on the cloud. This allows enterprises to deliver solutions with lower latency, reduced bandwidth usage and better overall value for their customers.

Transforming Industries with Collaborative Success

The Edge AI Program is already making waves across various industries. Here’s what some of our key partners and customers are saying about the program’s impact:

“We are partnering with Dell and Intel to bring AI-powered connectivity to support public services, traffic management, and sustainability use cases over private 5G for smart cities. This solution set is built around pre-verified applications running on Dell’s XR8000 servers, will enable real-time data processing from sensors and cameras deployed throughout the cities, and would analyze data locally without needing to send large volumes to the cloud to deliver better TCO for our customers.”

– Parm Sandhu, Vice President, NTT Data

“Our collaboration with Intel and Dell on the network enterprise AI program is allowing us to bring the pre-verified ISV solutions/use cases with faster time to our industrial clients in the Energy, Transportation, Manufacturing and Utilities markets. With CPU-native inferencing, our customers will get better TCO, whereas Dell’s XR8000 sled-based design provides much-needed flexibility and scalability in terms of computing and performance. Under this program, we are working very closely with Intel and Dell on several industrial use case solutions for our end customers.”

Peter Cappiello, CEO, Future Technologies Venture LLC

“As Lumen builds the backbone of the AI economy, we are excited to work with Intel and Dell to onboard selected partners to our portfolio.”

– Marco Rota, Vice President, Strategic Technology Partners, Lumen
