PowerProtect Cyber Recovery: Invalid Security Code Using Multifactor Authentication

Symptoms
Log in to the Cyber Recovery Manager UI is failing with error Invalid Security Code.
Multifactor authentication is enabled.
The following is found in the /opt/dellemc/cr/var/log/users/users.log:
[2025-03-26 18:07:29.050] [ERROR] [users] [jsonerr.go:40 JSONError()] : 400 : Invalid SecurityCode
Cause
Multifactor authentication is a time-based security mechanism. The Cyber Recovery Manager host time cannot differ from the authenticator time by more than one minute (plus or minus). If the time differs by more than +60 sec or -60 sec, multifactor authentication is not enabled.
Resolution
Ensure that the Cyber Recovery Manager host is synchronizing the time with a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server.
