NetWorker: ansrd generated core dump after clone workflow

Summary: During rare instances, ansrd would fail and generate a core dump after finishing a clone workflow on NetWorker Server.

Symptoms

In the daemon.raw log, below error is observed:

nsrd NSR severe A core file can indicate a problem in NetWorker software.
nsrd NSR severe If the problem persists, investigate, collect the core file and the daemon.raw log.
nsrd NSR severe New Core File Created xxxx-xx-timestamp D:\nsr\cores\ansrd\ansrd.exe.xxxx.dmp
nsrd NSR severe New Cores = 1, Total Core Files = x
nsrd NSR info Server Critical event: Process ansrd crashed. New core file found on server xxx. 
Check daemon.raw for details.

Cause

The NetWorker code was trying to access a memory segment which was uninitialized which resulted in a Segmentation fault.

Resolution

Confirmed by Engineering team, the defect is resolved in the main branch and the fix is available by NetWorker version 19.11.0.3 and above.

The engineering team recommends upgrading to NetWorker version 19.12 and above.
