The Compatibility Server service fails to start, and the following can be observed in the service log: (\Program Files\Dell\Enterprise Edition\Compatibility Server\logs\output.log)

Note: These error messages are all in the Compatibility Server log which can be found at C:\Program Files\Dell\Enterprise Edition\Compatibility Server\logs\output.log.
Cause
This can occur if at some point the Encryption client was installed on the computer.
Resolution
Look for a file called CmgCryptoLib.dll under Windows\System32 and rename it. The server then uses the version of the .dll available in the Compatibility Server service installation folder, and the service starts.
