Back-up van Avamar SQL-cluster mislukt met fout: Kan geen verbinding maken met de externe client

Symptoms

Avamar SQL-back-up van dual-homed AlwaysON cluster mislukt.

Uit het hoofdlogboek van de avsql plug-in:

From remote client avagent log we don't see any sub-workorder as the IP in question (10.x.x.22) cannot be contacted from backup IP of AlwaysON listener (10.x.x.81):
initiator_agent_ip="10.x.x.81"
remote_agent_ip="10.x.x.22"

 

Cause

Voor een dual-homed AlwaysON SQL Cluster-omgeving wordt de volledig gekwalificeerde domeinnaam (FQDN) van de SQL-knooppunten omgezet naar het IP-adres van het productienetwerk. Dit netwerk heeft geen toegang tot het back-upnetwerk.

 

Dit probleem doet zich voor in omgevingen met meerdere NIC's of waar verschillende vLAN's bij betrokken zijn.

 

Resolution

Permanente oplossing:
Upgrade de Avamar Server naar.

  • 19.7.100-82 of hoger
  • De oplossing is opgenomen in Avamar 19.7 en latere softwarereleases.
    • Nieuwe markering in het avsql.cmd-bestand in de gedeelde VAR AlwaysON: 
      • --clusternode=<SQL_node_name>(<IP_ADDRESS>)
