Symptoms

Alienware Desktops computer does not output video to AW2721D or AW2521H monitors during POST using DP connection but displays video to AW2721D monitor after loading into OS.

When this happens, you cannot load in BIOS setup without video.

The issue is identified to happen with a combination below:

Cause

Graphics card VBIOS issue.

Resolution

Updating to VBIOS version 1.0.0.3 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the BIOS, reference BIOS Update Guide.
