Define a virtual filespace mapping and perform a backup operation
As a part of configuring IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for managing NDMP backups on an EMC Isilon cluster, you must define a virtual filespace mapping before performing the backup operation.

Define virtual filespace mapping by running the following command:
def virtualfs <ip_addr_or_node_name> <virtual_filespace_name> <file_system_name> <path>The following command creates a virtual filespace mapping for /ifs/data.def virtualfs node001 /data-backup /ifs/data

Perform the backup operation by running the following command:
backup node <ip_addr_or_node_name> <virtual_filespace_name> mode=backup_mode
The following command performs a backup operation on node001.backup node node001 /data-backup mode=full toc=yes wait=yes
