Initialize an IBM Tivoli Storage Manager server for an PowerScale cluster
You must initialize an IBM Tivoli Storage Manager server to manage NDMP backups on an PowerScale cluster.
- Open the Tivoli Storage Manager Management Console.
- Expand the Tivoli Storage Manager folder.
- Right-click the host name of your local machine and then select Add a New Tivoli Storage Manager Server.
- In the Initial Configuration Task List window, click Minimal configuration.
- Click Start.
- Follow the prompts to configure a Tivoli Storage Manager server.
