Installing system board

  1. Place and push the system board to slide into the metal shield of the system board chassis.
  2. Replace the screws to secure the system board to the computer.
  3. Connect the following cables to the system board:
    1. LCD assembly cable
    2. Heat sink cable
    3. LCD assembly cable
    4. LCD link bar cable
    5. Speaker cable
    6. VGA serial cable
    7. VGA cable
    8. SATA ODD cable
  4. Install the:
    1. processor
    2. system fan
    3. heat sink
    4. WLAN card
    5. memory module
    6. SSD card
    7. coin cell battery
    8. system board shield
    9. hard drive
    10. back cover
    11. optical drive
    12. stand
  5. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
