Removing hard drive

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. stand
    2. optical drive
    3. back cover
    4. system board shield
  3. To remove hard drive:
    1. Remove the M3X3.5 screws that secure the hard drive to the computer [1].
    2. Slide and remove the hard drive from the computer [2].
