Removing system fan 35 W optional

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. stand
    2. optical drive
    3. back cover
    4. system board shield
  3. To remove system fan:
    1. Disconnect the system fan cable [1].
    2. Remove the M3.5x5 screws that secure the system fan to the system board [2].
    3. Lift the system fan away from the computer [3].
