Removing VGA or serial port optional

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. stand
    2. optical drive
    3. back cover
    4. system board shield
  3. To remove VGA/serial port:
    1. Disconnect VGA/serial port and SATA cables from the system board [1,2]
    2. Remove the M2x2.5 screws that secure VGA/serial port on the computer [3].
    3. Lift the VGA/serial port away from the computer [4].
