Removing memory module

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. stand
    2. optical drive
    3. back cover
    4. system board shield
  3. To remove memory module:
    1. Pry the retention clips away from the memory module until it pops-up [1].
    2. Lift the memory module from the connector [2].

  4. Perform the same steps to remove the second memory module.
