Installing the slim optical-drive

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Steps

  1. Optical drive/ hard drive module.
  2. Optical drive unit.
  3. Insert the optical drive into the optical drive/ hard drive module.
  4. Press the Optical drive unit until it clicks in place.

  1. Install the Side cover
  2. Install the Front bezel
