Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the keyboard and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.

Steps
Align and place the keyboard on the keyboard bracket.
Replace the four screws (M2x2) to secure the keyboard to the keyboard bracket.
Turn the keyboard bracket over.
Align and place the keyboard bracket on the palm-rest assembly.
Replace the seventeen screws (M2x2) that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
NOTE:One of the screws is located under the touchpad cable.
Connect the keyboard backlit cable to the connector on the touchpad and close the latch to secure the cable.
Connect the keyboard cable to the connector on the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.
