Installing the WWAN card

About this task

NOTE:The WWAN card is available only on certain configurations.

The following image(s) indicate the location of the WWAN card and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.

1. Connect the antenna cables to the WWAN card.

   The following table provides the antenna-cable color scheme for the WWAN card that is supported by your computer.

2. Align the notch on the WWAN card with the tab on the WWAN-card slot.
3. Insert the WWAN card at an angle into the WWAN-card slot.
4. Align the screw hole on the WWAN-card bracket with the screw hole on the WWAN card and palm-rest assembly.
5. Replace the screw (M2x3) that secures the wireless-card bracket to the wireless card and the palm-rest assembly.
6. Align and place the WWAN-card shield on the WWAN card.
