Symptoms
SourceOne ExJBJournal.exe application crashes randomly.
In the Event Viewer the following can be seen:-

Cause
The crash occurs while calling MAPIUninitialize() function. The function is called to soon.
Resolution
In order to avoid the ExJBJournal.exe application crash while calling MAPIUninitialize() a code change was made to have a delay of 5 seconds before calling it.
This problem is caused by a software defect cited under SDR 58719.
This issue is resolved in patches or Service Pack versions of EMC SourceOne Email Management 7.2 SP4 Hotfix 3 and greater.
