Symptoms
Adobe Flash Player has been deprecated and has an official end-of-life of December 31st, 2020.
Support of the Adobe Flash plug-in ends then for all major public web browsers.
RecoverPoint UI (Graphical User Interface) uses Adobe FLEX and Flash Players.

Cause
Adobe Flash goes End-Of-Life (EOL) on December 31st 2020.

Resolution
To address this issue, a new utility has been introduced, called RPClassicUI Utility.
This tool is supported for RecoverPoint Classic 5.1.2 (5.1 SP2) and later.

- Download the RPClassicUI utility software from the Dell.com Support site to your workstation:
Note: The workstation must have connectivity to the management IP address of the RPA cluster.
- From the Windows machine, double-click the RPClassicUI Windows Installer:
- To install the RP Classic UI utility, follow the instructions in the RPClassicUI Setup Wizard:
- After successfully installing the RPClassicUI utility on your workstation, use this procedure when you want to log in to an RPA cluster and connect to the RecoverPoint for Unisphere UI. Run this procedure separately for each RPA cluster in your environment.
- Open the RP Classic UI utility from the Windows startup menu by selecting Start > RPClassicUI.
- In the RecoverPoint Management IP dialog, enter the RPA cluster management IP address or FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) address and click Open:
- The RPClassicUI utility connects to the Unisphere for RecoverPoint system UI.
To access the RecoverPoint Dashboard and other menus, enter credentials for the system:
