Symptoms

  • Los registros de respaldo de vProxy muestran el error:
Backup has FAILED. Unable to create snapshot. Unable to create non-quiesced snapshot after a retry attempt: An error occurred while saving the snapshot: Could not open or create change tracking file.

 

  • El registro de snapshot-mgr de vProxy (\opt\emc\vproxy\runtime\logs\vbackupd\vbackupd-snapmgr.log) muestra el mismo error:

Cause

Hay un problema con los archivos de Change Block Tracking (CBT) para esta VM.

 

Resolution

Los archivos de Change Block Tracking (CBT) se crean y controlan mediante el host ESXi en el que se ejecuta la VM. NetWorker es un solicitante de instantáneas, VMware toma y elimina las instantáneas que se utilizan para los respaldos. NetWorker no puede solucionar problemas ni omitir un problema de instantáneas.
