NetWorker：NVP-vProxy 再試行後に停止されていないスナップショットを作成できない

Summary: 1つ以上のVMでNetWorker NVP-vProxyベースのバックアップが失敗しています。 障害が発生したVMは、VMware Snapshot Managerを使用して手動でスナップショットを作成できず、同じメッセージで失敗します。

Symptoms

  • vProxyバックアップ ログに次のエラーが表示されます。
Backup has FAILED. Unable to create snapshot. Unable to create non-quiesced snapshot after a retry attempt: An error occurred while saving the snapshot: Could not open or create change tracking file.

 

  • vProxy snapshot-mgrログ(\opt\emc\vproxy\runtime\logs\vbackupd\vbackupd-snapmgr.log)に同じエラーが表示されます。
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:SS ERROR:  Snapshot creation task failed: An error occurred while saving the snapshot: Could not open or create change tracking file.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:SS ERROR:  Unable to create quiesced snapshot: An error occurred while saving the snapshot: Could not open or create change tracking file.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:SS NOTICE: Snapshot free space threshold validation not requested.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:SS WARN:   Retrying as a non-quiesced snapshot: Unable to create quiesced snapshot: An error occurred while saving the snapshot: Could not open or create change tracking file.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:SS INFO:   Task to create snapshot completed, errors = true.
YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:SS ERROR:  Unable to create non-quiesced snapshot after a retry attempt: An error occurred while saving the snapshot: Could not open or create change tracking file.

 

Cause

このVMのCBT(Change Block Tracking)ファイルに問題があります。

 

Resolution

変更ブロック追跡(CBT)ファイルは、VMが実行されているESXiホストによって作成および制御されます。NetWorkerはスナップショット リクエスターであり、VMwareはバックアップに使用されるスナップショットを取得および削除します。NetWorkerは、スナップショットの問題を回避またはバイパスできません。
