Cause

Användaren måste använda FSAgent-kortnamnet i filen /etc/hosts, men PowerProtect Data Manager av säkerhetsskäl kräver ett fullständigt kvalificerat domännamn (FQDN).

Resolution

  1. Kontrollera DNS för FSAgent-klienten för att matcha FQDN
  2. Kör register.sh och installera agenten med hjälp av "IP address" där du omfrågas om FQDN eller IP.
  3. Redigera filen /opt/dpsapps/agentsvc/register.sh för att ha NSORDER = bind
Redigera filen så att den har NSORDER = bindning
  1. Öppna den senaste filen under /opt/dpsapps/agentservice/logs/Op*.log och sök efter nyckelordets fqdns.
