Understanding the Limitations:
- Technical Support cannot permanently update customer data on SRs or accounts. Only the account team or the customer has the required access for these modifications.
- The account team has additional permissions that allow them to make these changes.

Customer Update Capabilities:
Customers can modify or add the following data on their accounts:
- Dial Home Contacts
- Site Access Details
- Shipping Contact Address
- Onsite Scheduling Contacts

Steps for Customers to Update Information:
- Sign in to the Dell Support site: Dell Support Site
- Hover over your name in the upper right corner and click 'Manage Company Information'.
- View, modify, or add information as needed.

Setting Up Service Request Event Notifications:
- Sign in to the Dell Support site: Dell Support Site
- Hover over your name in the upper right corner and click 'Preferences'.
- Click 'Show user settings & preferences'.
- Navigate to 'Notifications & Alerts' and click 'Service Request Events'.
- Click the 'Add Notification' button to create a Service Request Event Notification.
Additional Information
Only the account team or the customer can make permanent changes to the customer data on SRs/accounts. Dell support team can only make temporary adjustments within the SR.
