Symptoms

Latitude 9330 with Hynix LPDDR5x memory may encounter a two amber, three white (2A3W) error code and is unable to boot to the operating system.

Cause

The computer is using the incorrect SPD data.

Resolution

The engineering department is working on a fix to be released in BIOS version 1.27.1 or later. The updated driver or BIOS is posted to the computer's support page once it is made available.

If the computer is unable to POST, follow the blow steps for recovery and flash the BIOS.

  1. Plug AC adapter into computer.
  2. Update BIOS to v1.27.0
  3. Push the power button for twenty-five seconds.
