Removing the optional Serial module

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the side cover.

Steps

  1. Remove the two screws that secure the Serial module to the chassis.
  2. Disconnect the Serial module cable from the connector on the system board.
  3. Lift the Serial module and the cable off the chassis.
