Removing the side cover

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Loosen the thumbscrew (6-32) that secures the side cover to the chassis.
  2. Slide the side cover towards the front of the computer to disengage the tabs on the side cover from the slots on the chassis.
  3. Lift the side cover away from the chassis.
