Instructions

For Windows Hosts

  1. Access the Affected Host
    Log in to the host machine where the DM5500 FS Agent is experiencing issues.

  2. Go to the Agent Directory
    Open File Explorer and go to:

    C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\AgentService
    
  3. Stop the AgentService

    • Open Services (services.msc)
    • Locate AgentService
    • Right-click and select Stop
  4. Rename the SSL Folder

    • Locate the ssl folder in the AgentService directory.
    • Rename it to ssl_old or similar.
  5. Restart the AgentService

    • In Services, right-click AgentService and select Start
  6. Verify SSL Folder Recreation

    • Confirm that a new ssl folder has been created.
  7. Check File Timestamps

    • Open the new ssl folder.
    • Ensure that the files inside have the current date.

For Linux Hosts

  1. Access the Affected Host
    SSH into the Linux host where the agent is installed.

  2. Go to the Agent Directory

    cd /opt/DPSAPPS/AgentService

  3. Stop the AgentService

    sudo systemctl stop agentservice

  4. Rename the SSL Folder

    sudo mv ssl ssl_old

  5. Start the AgentService

    sudo systemctl start agentservice

  6. Verify SSL Folder Recreation

    Ensure that the folder exists and contains newly generated files.

  7. Check File Timestamps

         ls -lt ssl

      8. Confirm that the files have today’s date.
