Symptoms

Delete Key on Keyboard Does Not Work

 

When pressing Delete Key directly it does not work, however when pressing Fn+Delete works.

Affected Platforms:

Cause

The keyboard enables the function keylock toggle, so the "Delete" function needs to press Fn+Delete to trigger instead of pressing the Delete key directly.

Resolution

 

Press Fn+Esc to disable the function Key Lock Toggle. It is also workable when other function keys have the same issue.

For below Keyboard type, download the Keyboard Firmware Update Utility as below file name from our Support Site. This Firmware can let HOME/END/DEL keys always keep as primary function when FN lock enable/disable.
