Installing the smart card reader (optional)
Prerequisites
CAUTION:The information in this section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
Steps
- Align and slide the smart card reader inwards.
- Replace the two screws (M2x2) to secure the smart card reader to the palm-rest assembly.
- Connect the smart card reader cable to its connector on the USH board and close the latch.
