Installing the WWAN 4G card
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the WWAN 4G card and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.

Steps
- Connect the antenna cables to the connectors on the WWAN 4G card.
The following table provides the antenna-cable color scheme for the WWAN card supported by your computer.

Connectors on the wireless card Antenna-cable color Silkscreen marking Main White MAIN △ (white triangle) Auxiliary Black AUX ▲ (black triangle) - Align the notch on the WWAN card and slide the WWAN 4G card into the WWAN-card slot.
- Align and place the WWAN-card bracket on the WWAN 4G card, and tighten the screw (M2x3.5).
- Replace the WWAN-thermal shield covering the WWAN 4G card.
