Removing the SSD card

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
  3. To remove the Solid State Drive (SSD) card:
    1. Remove the two screws that secure the SSD bracket to the system [1], and lift the bracket from the system [2].
    2. Slide and lift the SSD from the system [3].
