Removing the heatsink

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
  3. To remove the heatsink:
    1. Loosen the 4 captive screws in the order shown on the heatsink [1], and then remove another 3 screws [2] to release the heatsink..
