Removing system board

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. base cover
   2. battery
   3. M2. SSD
   4. hard drive
   5. 
      
   6. fan
   7. WLAN card
   8. WWAN card
   9. display assembly
3. Disconnect the following cables and connectors:
   1. VGA cable [1]
   2. Unroute the VGA cable from the routing channel [2]
   3. hard drive cable [3]
   4. Speaker cable connector [4]
   5. DC-in cable [5]
   
4. Disconnect the following cables :
   1. Power button board cable [1]
   2. I/O cable and fingerprint reader cable [2]
   3. Touchpad cable [3]
   4. Keyboard backlight cable [4]
   5. Keyboard cable [5]
   
5. Remove the M2x4 screw that secures the system board to the system.
   
6. To remove the system board:
   • For systems shipped with WWAN card and VGA:
     1. Carefully lift the right side of the system board and flip it over.
     2. Disconnect the WWAN daughter board FPC [1] and VGA daughter board cable [2] from the connectors on the bottom side of the system board.

     3. Lift the system board from the system.

        
   • For other configurations, flip the system board to disconnect the VGA board cable..
   
7. Remove the screw securing the USB Type-C bracket to the system board [1] and lift the USB Type-C bracket from the system board [2].
