Secondary storage

VxRail clusters offer the flexibility to add secondary storage for customer workload.

VxRail clusters support the following protocols on supported arrays:

  • FC
  • NVMe over FC
  • iSCSI
  • NFS
  • NVMe over TCP/IP

VxRail clusters support using LUN-backed VMFS data store, vVols, NFS, and VMware vSAN HCI Mesh.
