For at kontrollere, om årsagen til problemet er, skal du åbne LMS output.log in C:\Program Files\Dell\Dell Data Protect\Encryption\LMS\Logs eller LogBundleName\ProgramFiles-DDP\Encryption\LMS\Logs fra en diagnosticerings-infopakke. Nedenfor er et eksempel på en fejl:

20xx-xx-x xx:xx:xx,xxx ERROR CONTAINER [4] - Credant.Common.Security.SecurityException: Error trying to protect databaseSettings ---> System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException: Failed to decrypt using provider 'LmsRsaProvider'. Sådan løses problemet:

1. Afinstallere Dell Encryption Personal (tidligere Dell Data Protection | Personlig udgave).
2. Når Dell Encryption er fjernet, og du har kontrolleret, at alle filer er dekrypteret.
   • Slet mappen Encryption i C:\Program Files\Dell\Dell Data Protection.
   • Fra og med v8.15 og nyere skal du slette følgende mappe: c:\programdata\dell\dell data protection\encryption.

3. Fjern den credsecagent$admin lokale konto fra computeren.

4. Geninstallere Dell Encryption.

Windows Home Editions indeholder ikke lokale brugere og grupper i snap-in-programmet Computeradministration . Validering og fjernelse af credsecagent$admin kontoen kan udføres ved hjælp af PowerShell som administrator.

I en administrativ PowerShell-session:

Kontroller for lokale brugere:

Get-WmiObject -Class Win32_UserAccount -Filter "LocalAccount='True'"

credsecagent$admin Hvis kontoen bliver fundet, kan den fjernes ved at køre følgende kommando i den samme administrative PowerShell-session:

net user ‘credsecagent$admin’ /DELETE
