Dell Security Management Server Enterprise and Virtual Compatibility Server Failing to Start with a Padding Failure

Compatibility Server fails to start with error:

Given final block not properly padded

During the start of the Compatibility Server on a Dell Security Management Server (formerly Dell Data Protection | Enterprise Edition) or Dell Security Management Server Virtual (formerly Dell Data Protection | Virtual Edition), the SecretKeystore is compared against information in the database that the server is supposed to be referencing. When this happens, the server cannot validate the data that is coming back from the server, as that data is encrypted (Dell stores critical data in the server as encrypted data, we validate that we can decrypt this data during service start). This failure generates this error in the output.log file of the Dell Security Management Server:

[WrapperListener_start_runner] - Error while retrieving raw data. Unabled to decrypt data
Nested Exception --> Given final block not properly padd

To correct this failure, ensure that the server is connecting to the proper database, and the correct SecretKeystore is in place that can decrypt the data within the target database.
