Supported Action — CreatePartitionUsingImage

The CreatePartitionUsingImage action is used to create a partition using an image provided by the user.

NOTE A star (*) indicates a required parameter, else the parameter is optional.


Parameter	Type	Value	Description
OSVolumeLabel	String		The value is limited to 6 characters. This is the same label which will be seen in the OS after attaching the partition.
PartitionIndex	Integer		The index of the partition, which is a value between 1 and 16.
HashType	String	MD5, SHA1	Type of hash algorithm used to compute checksum.
HashValue	String		The HashValue parameter is set to the hash value of the image using the specified hash type in the HashType parameter.
IPAddress	String		If the ShareType parameter is set to 0 (NFS) or, 1 (TFTP), or 2 (CIFS), this parameter must be populated.
ImageName	String		Name of the image file.
Password	String		The password for accessing the image on a remote node.
SharePath	String		If the ShareType parameter is set to 0 (NFS) or, 1 (TFTP), or 2 (CIFS), this parameter must be populated.
ShareType	String	CIFS, FTP, NFS, TFTP, HTTP,	Type of the network share.
UserName	String		The username for accessing the image on a remote node. This parameter is mandatory for CIFS ShareType.
PartitionType	String	CDROM, Floppy, HardDisk,	The Partition Type
Port	Integer		If the ShareType parameter is set to 1 (TFTP, this parameter must be populated).
URI	String		The parameter is populated, if the ShareType parameter is set to 3(FTP), or 4 (HTTP).
Workgroup	String		Workgroup for the CIFS share-optional.
