Create a node provisioning rule
You can create a node provisioning rule to specify how network interfaces on new nodes are configured when the nodes are added to the cluster. Node provisioning rules are created under an IP address pool.

next to the IP address pool that will contain the new node provisioning rule.
The system displays the Create Rule window.
- From the Name field, specify the name of the new node provisioning rule.
- Optional:
In the
Description field, type a descriptive comment about the rule.
The comment can be no more than 128 characters.
- From the Interface Type list, select the network interface type that will be added to the pool when the new node is added to the cluster.

Node Type list, select one of the following node types:
- Any
- Storage
- Accelerator
- Backup accelerator
The rule is applied when a node matching the selected type is added to the cluster. - Click Add rule.
