Obtaining an Access Key and PIN

When upgrading your cluster, to enable SupportAssist, you must first obtain an Access Key and PIN from Dell Technologies Services.

To generate your Access Key and PIN:

  1. Go to the Dell Support site.
  2. Sign in and paste your OneFS LicenseID into the top Dell Technologies search bar.
  3. Click Generate Access Key and follow the instructions in the wizard to create a four-digit PIN. You will receive the Access Key by email.
  4. Run the following command to provision the Dell SupportAssist OneFS Access Code:
    isi supportassist provision start --access-key <Access Key> --pin <4-digit PIN>
NOTE: On newly installed clusters, a hardware key is automatically used instead of an Access Key and PIN.
