Enabling SupportAssist overview

To enable SupportAssist, you must perform the following steps:
  1. Choose one or more static IPv4-family subnets or pools for outbound communication.
  2. Choose means of connectivity through direct connect to Dell Technologies Services or through Secure Connect Gateway by specifying host address and optional port to the primary and backup secure connect gateway.
    NOTE:Cloud deployments of OneFS can only use a direct connectivity option.
  3. Obtain an access key and pin from the Dell Technologies Services access key site.
  4. Connect and provision SupportAssist
NOTE:Secure Remote Services users, enabling SupportAssist on your OneFS cluster permanently disables Secure Remote Services.
