Touchpad does not function within the PBA

In some Dell 2017 Laptops that use SATA SEDs, the touchpad does not work in the Pre-Boot Authentication environment when leveraging Dell's Self-Encrypting Drive manager in Legacy boot mode.
In addition, if the computer is put in hibernation when the Legacy PBA is installed, the touchpad does not work in the operating system when coming out of hibernation.
These issues do not occur if the computer and PBA are running in UEFI mode.

Resolution
Customers can use the internal Track Stick mouse or an external USB mouse.
Note: These issues are resolved with Dell Encryption v8.17.1 or later.
