Dell WD Series Dock Ethernet Port Intermittently Disconnect When Flow Control is Disabled

Symptoms
The Ethernet port on the Dell WD series Dock may intermittently disconnect when using the port to access the Internet on the computer. A yellow bang may also be present in the Device Manager with an unknown USB device.
Affected Docks:
- Dell Dock WD19
- Dell Dock - WD19S
- Dell Performance Dock - WD19DC
- Dell Performance Dock - WD19DCS
Cause
The Flow Control being disabled in the Realtek USB GbE Family Controller property causes the issue. The default setting is Enable.
Resolution
Enable the Flow Control to prevent overflow under heavy loading.
- Right-click This PC on your desktop and select Manage.
- Select Device Manager.
- Go to the following location in the Device Manager:
Network adapters\Realtek USB GbE Family Controller Properties\Advanced\Flow Control
- Enable Flow Control.
- Restart the computer.
