Cause

Dell Security Management Server Virtual が /etc/ntp.conf で設定された NTP サーバと通信できず、管理コンソールからの電子メール通知でサービスアラートリマインダーを設定している場合は、次のアラート電子メールを受信します。

Date: Tue, 24 Jul 2018 14:58:23
Action: restart
Host: ddp.demandis.com
Description: process is not running
Service: NTP Service
Event: Does not exist

Resolution

注：ポート123へのオープン パスが必要です。
  1. Dell Security Management Server Virtual管理コンソールに（ハイパーバイザー管理コンソールから）ログインします。
  2. ［Launch Shell］を選択します。

シェルの起動

  1. と入力su ddpsupportしてユーザーにddpsupport切り替えます。
    • Password: ddpsupport (デフォルト)
  2. NTP構成ファイルを編集するには、 と入力 sudo vi /etc/ntp.conf し、viエディタでNTP構成ファイルを開きます。
  3. を押 I して挿入モードに入ります。
  4. デフォルトのNTPサーバーを、使用可能な場合は独自のサーバー、または 次のような time.microsoft.comよく知られているサーバーに置き換えます。
注：Dell Security Management Server Virtual と NTP サーバの間にレイテンシの問題がある場合は、サーバアドレスの後に iburst フラグを追加できます。例：server time.microsoft.com iburstの表示が試行されます。

「 server time.microsoft.com iburst 」と入力します。

  1. 変更が完了したら、 続いて を:wq押ESCして保存し、終了します。
  2. 次に、 を実行 sudo service ntp restartしてNTPサービスを再起動します。

を実行 ntpq -pして、構成済みのNTPサーバーへの接続を確認できます。
