Cause
PowerProtect Data Manager backup agent makes Microsoft Windows API calls to determine if the host is part of a cluster setup. On Windows Server 2019, when API calls are made, it produces error messages as above.
Resolution
These events can safely be ignored. The errors do not impact Windows Server or backups taken by the PowerProtect Data Manager agent.
PowerProtect Data Manager engineering team has worked with Microsoft for a solution. The fix is expected in a future release of PowerProtect Data Manager after v19.14. This article will be revised when more information about fix is available.
