Obtain licenses by connecting to Dell Digital Locker account

The appliance can be connected to Dell Digital Locker to gather information about all the available unbound licenses, and bind entitlements with devices to generate licenses. To connect to Dell Digital Locker, the appliance requires a One-Time Passcode (OTP). You can disconnect from the Dell Digital Locker at any time.

1. In the OpenManage Enterprise, click Configuration > Entitlements > Connect to Dell Online.
2. In the Connect to Dell Digital Locker window, click the Dell Digital Locker link to request an OTP.
3. In the Dell Digital Locker portal, enter the credentials, and then click Sign In.
   The OTP is generated and displayed.
4. Copy the generated OTP from the Dell Digital Locker Portal.
   NOTE:The OTP is valid for 10 minutes. If the OTP is not used within 10 minutes, it has to be requested again by connecting to Dell Digital Locker.
5. In the Connect to Dell Digital Locker window of OpenManage Enterprise, enter the OTP that was copied from the Dell Digital Locker Portal.
6. Click Connect.
   The connection, once established, remains active for 24 hours. Post that, the connection is terminated.
   Information about all unbound entitlements from your Dell Digital Locker is displayed in a grid format as follows:

   LICENSE NAME	License name
   TYPE	The type of license.
   LICENSE DESCRIPTION	Description of the type of license; Enterprise License, bound, unbound, or upgraded.
   TERM	The license term. Perpetual licenses have no expiration date.
   COUNT	The count of unbound entitlements is available for binding.
