View installed and available licenses on a device

View all licenses (installed or available for installation). You can also deploy and remove licenses as needed.

To view the list of licenses on a device:

Click Devices and select a device from the All Devices page.
Click View Details and then select the Licensing tab.

The Licenses section includes the following information:

License attribute	Description
Deploy	To deploy licenses on a device, select licenses that are available and click Deploy. After the licenses are deployed on the target device, the device inventory is automatically refreshed to update the license capability for the device in the appliance.
Remove	To remove installed licenses from a device, select the installed licenses and click Remove. An uninstall license task is created on the Jobs page. After the license is successfully removed, the device inventory is refreshed automatically, and the related features stop working for the device in the appliance.
Check box	Select or de-select the license when executing bulk operations.
Status	OK - License is installed and not expired. Expired - License is installed and expired. Available - License is bound but not installed.
Description	The description of a license.
Term	The license term. Possible values are: Perpetual: The license has no expiration date. Evaluation: The license will expire.
Entitlement ID	The unique identifier of a license.
Evaluation time remaining	Time remaining (days) for license evaluation. The value listed for perpetual licenses is NA.
Date of expiration	The date on which the license expires.
Date purchased	The date the license was purchased. The value listed for perpetual licenses is NA.
Date installed	The date the license was installed.
Assigned devices	Fully qualified device descriptor (FQDD) of devices or components that are assigned to the license

The Features section provides a lists of features that are enabled on the device based on the installed and active licenses.
