Installing the solid-state drive
Prerequisites
About this task
The figure indicates the location of the M.2 2230 solid-state drive and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align and adhere the SSD thermal pad in the mark on the system board.
NOTE Check the adhesive direction before adhering it to the system board.
- Align the notch on the solid-state drive module with the connector on the system board and slide the solid-state drive at an angle into the slot.
- Replace the (M2x3.5) screw to secure the solid-state drive module to the system board.
