Removing the system fan
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your device.
- Remove the device from fixed stand/Pro 1 height-adjustable stand/Offset VESA mount/Pro 2 height-adjustable stand/Wall mount.
- Remove the cover.

- Release the system fan from the retention tab on the fan tray.
- Disconnect the system fan cable from the connector on the system board.
- Slide the system fan out from the guiding rails on the heat-sink bracket.
